Impact Tester


Impact tester is to impact the specimen by the force of pendulum of potential energy change to kinetic energy. When the impacting pendulum broke the specimen, the pulling angle of pendulum by residual energy would be the spare potential energy. From the diversity of two energies, determine the loss of energy value when impact. It is an objective impact test with standard data for reference. With a database impact testing machine to impact specimen under a specified "potential energy", the lost energy by damage is the endurance strength of the specimen. This impact testing machine can satisfy both CHARPY and IZOD testing methods. The plastic tester equipment offer two different kinds of testing grips and pendulums to let users select.
